uuu.gl provides URL shortening, file sharing, and markdown note services. The Service allows users to create short URLs, upload files, and create notes that can be accessed via short links.

3. Data Loss and Service Availability Disclaimer

3.1 No Guarantee of Data Preservation

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." uuu.gl makes no warranty or guarantee that:

Your data (URLs, files, notes) will be stored permanently
Your data will be available at all times
Your data will be backed up or recoverable
The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free

3.2 Data Loss Liability

uuu.gl SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS, CORRUPTION, OR DELETION, including but not limited to:

Accidental deletion of user content
System failures or server crashes
Database corruption or loss
Security breaches or unauthorized access
Service termination or discontinuation
Natural disasters or force majeure events

3.3 User Responsibility for Backups

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for maintaining backups of all content you upload to or create on the Service. uuu.gl has no obligation to:

Maintain backups of user data
Restore lost or deleted content
Provide data recovery services
Notify users of data loss events

3.4 Service Interruption

uuu.gl reserves the right to:

Suspend or discontinue the Service at any time without notice
Perform maintenance that may result in service interruptions
Modify or remove features without prior notification
Delete inactive accounts or content without warning

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

You may create an account using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4.2 Account Termination

uuu.gl reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and all your data may be deleted.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

Upload or link to illegal, harmful, or malicious content
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
Engage in phishing, spam, or fraud
Abuse the Service through excessive API calls or automated requests
Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures
Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create on the Service. However, by using the Service, you grant uuu.gl a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

uuu.gl SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
uuu.gl's TOTAL LIABILITY shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid to uuu.gl in the past 12 months, whichever is greater
NO WARRANTY is provided regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless uuu.gl, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Content you upload or create on the Service

9. Premium Services

Premium subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorize uuu.gl to charge your payment method on file. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. See our Refund Policy for more details.

10. Changes to Terms

uuu.gl reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which uuu.gl operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
